HUB640, JLL, Forrer and Steelcase host a spin on your traditional Broker’s Open House.

Over 200 guests from the commercial real estate, construction, architecture communities and other industry-related professionals joined for an evening of networking, food samplings and learnings at HUB640, a few blocks from the Fiserv Forum Bucks Area. Guests were brought up to the 5th floor of a raw, open and evolving space that was filled with the industry’s latest commercial furniture for work and social settings.

The 120-year-old building was recently the home of Boston Store’s corporate headquarters but has now undergone months of construction and redevelopment phases to repurpose the building for future large tenants. The multi-use building has a large retail front plus, upper apartments and is expected to have the  ‘The Hop’ rail car run right by the building. Westown is undergoing major revitalization and is expected to take on the amenities and lively culture of The Third Ward. With the new ‘Deer District’ and renewed Grand Avenue mall undergoing significant improvements, Westown will be the place to live and work.

Event speakers included, Tony Lindsay of North Wells Capital and HUB640, Brian Shapland of Steelcase, Dan Casanova with the City of Milwaukee and Mark Niehaus with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Vendors included: Steelcase, Viccarbe, Carl Hansen & Son, Extremis, Emu, SageGreenLife, Mitchel Gold + Bob Williams, BluDot, Coalesse, Designtex, West Elm, Bolia, Turnstone, J+J Flooring Group, Flos, and Arzu.
